Ordering

What information should I provide when sending an inquiry?

Please tell us the product (or the application you want to monitor or package), sizes and quantities, the sterilization method you use (steam, EO, plasma or formaldehyde), your destination port or address, and whether you need OEM printing or private-label packaging. Our team replies within 24 hours on working days.

Can you provide samples? Are they free?

Yes. Samples of indicator tapes, indicator strips, pouches and reels are available for evaluation. Small sample sets are free of charge; we ask customers to cover courier costs, which are refunded against the first order.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQs are set per carton — for example 240–480 rolls of indicator tape or 100 boxes of indicator strips. Mixed-product orders are welcome; contact us for the exact MOQ of each item.

What is the typical lead time for orders?

Standard products ship within 7–15 working days of order confirmation. Custom-printed or OEM products take 20–30 working days after artwork approval.

What payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T bank transfer and L/C for larger orders. Standard terms are a deposit with the order and the balance before shipment; other terms can be discussed for long-term partners.

OEM / ODM

Do you offer OEM / ODM services?

Yes. We manufacture indicator tapes, indicator strips, pouches, reels and oral-care products under customer brands, with custom widths, sizes, print designs, labels and retail packaging. Artwork guidelines and mock-ups are provided before production.

Can you design a chemical indicator for a specific sterilization cycle?

Yes. Class 6 emulating indicators can be designed for cycles between 90 °C and 140 °C with exposure times from 30 seconds to 60 minutes, in strip, label or tape formats.

Shipping

Do you ship to my country? What are the shipping terms?

We export to more than 100 countries. Shipments are offered EXW, FOB Shanghai / Ningbo, CIF or DDP by sea, air or express, with export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin) and product certificates included.

How are products packed for export?

Products are packed in inner boxes and export cartons with lot numbers and expiry dates printed; cartons are palletised for sea freight on request. Carton dimensions and weights are listed on each product page.

Products

What is the difference between Type 1, Type 4, Type 5 and Type 6 chemical indicators?

Type 1 process indicators (tapes, pouch print) show that a pack was exposed to the process. Type 4 multi-variable indicators respond to two or more critical variables. Type 5 integrating indicators respond to all critical variables with performance correlated to a biological indicator. Type 6 emulating indicators verify all critical variables of one specific cycle. All are defined in ISO 11140-1.

Are your products certified?

Kangde Med operates an ISO 13485 quality management system. Indicators are manufactured to ISO 11140-1; pouches and reels to ISO 11607-1 and EN 868-5; products carry CE marking where applicable. Certificates and declarations of conformity are available on request.

Which sterilization methods do your pouches and reels support?

Paper/film pouches and reels are validated for steam, ethylene oxide and formaldehyde sterilization and carry indicators for all three. For hydrogen peroxide plasma, use Tyvek® or non-woven packaging with our plasma indicator tape and strips.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Unopened indicator tapes and strips have a 3-year shelf life. Pouches and reels have a 5-year shelf life unopened; after sterilization we recommend a validity of 6 months under clean, dry storage below 25 °C and 60 % RH.

Are the indicator inks safe?

Yes. Our indicator inks are lead-free and free of toxic heavy metals, non-bleeding and non-migrating, so they do not transfer to instruments inside the pack.

What industries are your sterilization products suitable for?

Hospitals and CSSDs, dental and veterinary clinics, microbiology and research laboratories, pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, and tattoo or beauty studios — any environment that sterilizes instruments or products.
