Reliable Sterilization Solutions for a Safer Tomorrow

Sterilization Barrier Products

Heat-seal sterilization pouches, self-seal pouches, flat and gusseted sterilization reels, EO dialysis film pouches, and medical coated paper and composite films — manufactured to ISO 11607-1 and EN 868-5 to keep instruments sterile until the point of use.

Sterilization Barrier System products

A sterile barrier system is the minimum packaging that prevents microorganisms entering the pack and allows aseptic presentation at the point of use. Kangde Med pouches and reels combine 60 g/m² or 70 g/m² medical-grade paper (including French Arjowiggins paper) with a blue, white or green medical CPP/PET composite film, printed with steam, EO and formaldehyde process indicators.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Kangde Med pouches and reels compliant with ISO 11607 and EN 868?

Yes. Our pouches and reels are manufactured to ISO 11607-1 (packaging for terminally sterilized medical devices) and EN 868-5 (sealable pouches and reels of porous materials and plastic film), under an ISO 13485 quality management system. Compliance documentation is available on request.

How long do instruments stay sterile in a Kangde Med pouch?

Sterile shelf life is event-related and depends on storage. Under clean, dry storage at below 25 °C and below 60 % relative humidity, our recommended validity is 6 months after sterilization, provided the seal and the pack remain intact.
