Dental clinics mostly use Kangde Med self-sealing sterilization pouches (57 × 100 mm to 135 × 260 mm), steam indicator tape and Class 4 indicator strips, sterilized in bench-top autoclaves at 134 °C.
Dental practices sterilize small instruments in high volume, usually with a bench-top class B autoclave and without a dedicated packing room. The packaging needs to be quick to use, clearly labelled and small enough for handpieces, mirrors, probes and burs.
