Product Overview
EO Indicator Tape is applied to the outside of packs, cartons and pallets processed by ethylene oxide. The indicator ink is formulated to respond to EO gas and changes from orange to green, so operators can immediately separate processed loads from unprocessed ones after aeration.
Like our steam tape, it uses a crepe-paper backing with a medical-grade adhesive that holds securely on paper, non-woven wraps and pouches and removes cleanly.

How to use
- Apply the tape across the closure of the pack or container before the EO cycle.
- Process according to the sterilizer manufacturer's validated cycle.
- After aeration, verify that the indicator lines have changed from orange to green before releasing the load to storage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will EO tape change colour in a steam cycle?
EO indicator tape is formulated for ethylene oxide. Do not use it as a steam process indicator — use the dedicated steam indicator tape instead.
Does the tape withstand aeration?
Yes. The adhesive and the colour change are stable through post-cycle aeration and normal storage.
